The Prepaid Pathology Test will be emailed to you so that it can be printed and taken to a Collection Centre right away.
Results are confidential and will be mailed directly to the patient once they have been reviewed by HeartSmart.me.
Your birth date and gender are required by the Pathology lab so that your identity can be verified at the time of collection and also, so that your test results can be related to your age and gender.
Sometimes blood pathology tests reveal cholesterol or glucose readings that are at critical or even life threatening levels and immediate action is needed. Telephone details are required in the event that we need to speak with the patient.

Your regular Doctor is an important part of your overall healthcare and can provide continuity of care while monitoring your cardiovascular health in relation to your other health factors and risks.
Although not required, HeartSmart.me recommends that you elect to have your results copied to your regular Doctor.
